/// Soul in the Machine launched on December 6th, 2011 at the Hubb Gallery in Birmingham, UK. /// Hosted by Soul City Arts and introduced by it's director, Mohammed Ali, the launch comprised of a breathtaking performance by David J Pugilist (spoken word poet), Daniel James Waples and & Andy Mason (percussionists) in response to the artwork, bringing the collection to life in an extraordinary way.

This was followed by a short introduction to the work by Khyle and a brief Q & A session. The evening ended with a closing performance from our visiting artists, where David shared a new poem, especially tailored to the exhibition, that was soon shown on Channel 4's Random Acts series:
